Altari Sacred Living LLC is a luxury Haitian cultural sleep and home brand. We design pieces — bedding, decor, room accents — informed by the symbolism, color, and quiet ritual of Haitian Vodou tradition.
We make our work slowly, on purpose. We believe a bedroom is a held space. We believe a color choice can be a kind of prayer. We believe that the sacred and the beautiful do not have to be separated to be respected.
Our writing about lwa and veve is offered as cultural appreciation and education, not as religious instruction. Vodou is a living tradition. We honor it by being careful, accurate, and grounded — never sensational.

Dom Selen founded Altari to make a home brand that began where she began. Raised in a household where color, fabric, and small daily rituals carried meaning, she wanted to bring that quiet seriousness to a luxury sleep and home label.
As founder and cultural steward, Dom guides every collection — the symbols we draw on, the language we use, and the standard of care we hold to. Her role is not to claim spiritual authority. It is to make sure the brand stays close to its source, and that the work remains worthy of the tradition that inspires it.
